Up until this quarter, it seems Sony has actually been losing money on it's PS3. Ever zsince it's debut in 2006, Sony has lost money on the console, but due to new technology it has improved the quality of the system and lowered the manufacturing price of the system. This year alone, sales are all ready up 600,000 units on the year.
